Because the bishops were so very concerned about the safety and welfare of small children, the Catholic Church has spent 4-5 billion dollars settling child sex abuse lawsuits and even disgustingly paying hush money to the families of children who were raped and molested by priests and bishops. How many of these poor families could $5 billion dollars help lift out of poverty?

  2. I don’t agree with it either but didn’t hear anyone crying about it when Obama did it. Two wrongs don’t make a right. This is what happens when Congress lets immigration reform slip by for decades.
