  1. Ellen White especially highlighted these rules:New light is not given indiscriminately to everyone. Its bestowal
relates closely to the level of individual spirituality. Recipients
of advanced light, Ellen White said, have the following
    characteristics: They

are persons involved in diligent and prayerful study of the
    Bible19

    live a righteous life 20

    grow in grace 21

have a vital connection with Christ 22

walk obediently in the present light 23

purge sin from the life 24

have an attitude of humility 25

follow the light of health reform 26

accept and apply the old truths 27

accept the Spirit of prophecy 28

are chosen and illuminated by the Holy Spirit 29 and

advance in proportion to the light. 30

    Relationship to Established Truth.

New truth develops from the truth already revealed in the Word of
God. Ellen G. White frequently stressed the close relationship
between old truth and new truth. This is clear from the following
    characteristics of new truth.

    1. New Perspectives of Old Truth. The long-established truths of
redemption continue to offer new perspectives. "Though old, they are
ever new, constantly revealing to the seeker for truth a greater
glory and a mightier power." 31

    2. An Unfolding of the Old. "The old truths are all essential"
Mrs. White said, and "new truth is not independent of the old, but an
unfolding of it. . . . It is the light which shines in the fresh
unfolding of truth that glorifies the old. He who rejects or neglects
the new does not really possess the old. For him it loses its vital
power and becomes but a lifeless form." 32

    3. Harmony with the Foundations of Adventism. New light in no way
diminishes the relevancy of the truths upon which the Seventh-day
Adventist church was founded. Ellen G. White cautioned: "Let not any
man enter upon the work of tearing down the foundations of the truth
that have made us what we are."33 "Not one pillar of our faith is to
be removed. Not one line of truth is to be replaced by new and
    fanciful theories." 34

"The truth for this time, God has given us as a
foundation for our faith. He Himself has taught us what is truth. One
will arise and still another, with new light which contradicts the
light that God has given under the demonstration of His Holy Spirit.
    . . .

"We are not to receive the words of those who come with a message
that contradicts the special points of our faith. They gather
together a mass of Scripture, and pile it as proof around their
asserted theories. . . . And while the Scriptures are God's word, and
are to be respected, the application of them, if such application
moves one pillar from the foundation that God has sustained these
fifty years, is a great mistake." 35

The pillars of our faith, the special points of our faith, are
based upon a foundation of confidence in the totality of Scripture as
"given by inspiration of God" and "profitable for doctrine" (2 Tim
3:16). New light, then, will not weaken this foundation by suggesting
that the Bible writers were mistaken in their views or that their
messages were culturally conditioned for a pre-scientific era. Such
viewpoints are out of harmony with the historic Seventh-day Adventist
teaching about the Bible itself, and they open the door to attacks on
the distinctive teachings of our church.

    4. Harmony with Miller's Approach to Scripture. Ellen White had a
high regard for the way William Miller, God's chosen instrument in
the Great Second Advent movement, interpreted the Bible. She called
Miller's rules of interpretation "simple but intelligent and
important rules for Bible study and interpretation." She pointed out
that all involved in the mission of Adventism use the same approach
to the Bible: "Those who are engaged in proclaiming the third angel's
message are searching the Scriptures upon the same plan that Father
    Miller adopted."36

Ellen White especially highlighted these rules:

"1. Every word must have its proper bearing on the
    subject presented in the Bible;

    2. All Scripture is necessary, and may be understood by diligent
    application and study;

    3. Nothing revealed in Scripture can or will be hid from those who
    ask in faith, not wavering;

    4. To understand doctrine, bring all the scriptures together on
the subject you wish to know, then let every word have its proper
influence; and if you can form your theory without a contradiction,
    you cannot be in error;

    5. Scripture must be its own expositor, since it is a rule of
itself. If I depend on a teacher to expound to me, and he should
guess at its meaning, or desire to have it so on account of his
sectarian creed, or to be thought wise, then his guessing, desire,
creed, or wisdom is my rule, and not the Bible."

Commenting on these principles from William Miller, Mrs. White
said that "in our study of the Bible we shall all do well to heed the
principles set forth." 37 In evaluating today's claims of "new light"
on Bible interpretation–whether called "principle approach,"
"contextual method," "case-book approach," "dynamic approach,"
"developmental approach," or some other name–we must test them
against the historic Adventist methods of interpretation upheld by
Miller, Ellen G. White, and our pioneers.

  2. My brother I am listening to your talk here in this video and after listening to Jeremiah Davis video End Time Issue Part 3 (Question and Answers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXs5vpHRkHg&t=3659s …… in this video here around the 1 hr mark you talk about how Gods people who are being persecuted for having home church but sad to say in the video I mentioned above with Jeremiah Davis also around the 1 hr 1 minute & 30 second mark he states that home churches are of the DEVIL !!! I kid you not … check it yourself …I left a response and this was it ….Ellen White states in 17 Manuscripts 81 …"God has a church. It is not the great cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, neither is it the various denominations; it is the people who love God and keep His commandments. Where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them. Where Christ is, even among the humble few, this is Christ's church, for the presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church. Where two or three are present who love and obey the commandments of God, Jesus there presides, let it be in the desolate place of the earth, in the wilderness, in the city, or enclosed in prison walls.

  3. We must all redeem one self with the Spirit of Truth, if we want live for eternity with God this is the last days, we must all go trough this judgement day if we want to be save and only the truth could set us free, we don't need no one else but the Holy Spirit to take us out of error, thank God Jesus has done his part and now we must all do our parts with the Spirit of Truth and when you open your heart , only the truth could get you to haven of peace but all lies to war with yourself or someone else , lets be honest with ourself and we will have that peace that pass all understanding, we should be thank full to God to know the right from wrong in deciding to live or die

  4. When Trump signed on Thursday the 4th of May, the Religious Liberty Bill, he was basically reversing the separation of church and state. He was thus laying the foundation for the establishment of the national Sunday law. On October 31st, Pope Francis will sign an order to put an end to Martin Luther,s 500 years of the Protestant Reformation. Prophecy is fast fulfilling. May God help us to stand firm even if it means our demise, God will give us s crown of life.

  5. I wish Paul Harvey was here to comment on this and tell his version of "the rest of the story."  To see if he agrees with us.  His wife was a SDA and he even worshiped on the Lord's Holy 7th day from all I have heard. And someone asked if anyone has shared this kind of message to Pres. Trump.  Well, I have heard from a reliable source that it has been shared with him.  Not sure if it was as thorough as this is but he got the major principles I do believe.  So, we can see whose side he truly is on and will be to the end, maybe.

  6. You'll never know how much these teachings have opened up my eyes over these last couple of years. I use to go to church faithfully ever Sunday. Then I stopped and came across you all. The preacher I use to sit under had a picture hanging in the church with him shaking hands with the Pope and he once told us that Catholicism was wrong. The hypocrisy! I see how these people infiltrate the church and teach heresies. Lord Lord help us to stand. Just like Judas walking with Jesus and he was a betrayer.

  7. May our good Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ be praised yet again for speaking to us boldly through His two instruments anointed to warn us at this very difficult time. Hearing and reading what is going on in the signs of the times has made me understand why our Lord says repeatedly, " He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." But how deaf and how blind the church remains!
The Lord recently answered my prayers about a home church in the most unexpected way. While I was studying the bible with another lady, just as we finished with prayer a telephone came from a very depressed lady. We decided to remain where we were to pray for her the whole night which we did. The Lord later convicted me even to leave my home in Sitzerland and go to assist in taking care of her in France. As a medical missionary, trust in God is in first place so we started studying the Bible with her and soon the whole family joined us with such a hunger as only comes from God. So since February we have a vibrant home church of 7.This is the Lord's doing. Therefore I am deeply convinced it is time to have home churches if we hope to see Jesus and dwell with Him. The apostasy in the conference churches is too deep. I am praying for you- family for more of His Holy Spirit. I am even more convinced to trust in the words, " The Lord is my light and my salvation ,whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life of whom should I be afraid?….." Ps.27

  8. Thank you pastor. That God is using you so powerfully to share what is unfolding in the world almost real time, that relates to present truth is humbling. May we not have just intellectual knowledge of the goings on, rather, that my faith, our faith, be strengthened to withstand what will shortly come to pass. Most importantly, that I, we may be sealed unto redemption by the angel of the LORD.

  9. I want to give you warmly thank you for set up closed captions for SDA hearing impaired viewers. We are exciting and very much appreciative for your sharing views of current events. Again, thank you and God richly bless you always. Brother in Christ, Stuart

  10. Trump is just a puppet for those who manipulates him. Politics will lead us astray with their freedom to practice a unrestrained lifestyle, so we can't afford to have them guide us.
The fruit of temperance we must practice here, for the devil will give us freedom to destroy ourselves. Be a good disciple of the good lord and discipline yourselves to guide our footsteps in this devilish-freedom.

  11. It is interesting that pope Francis should say to Muslims that those who reject the Eucharist are doom, because in Laudato Si, Sunday is "centered on the Eucharist", so if those who reject the Eucharist are doomed, and Sunday is centered on the Eucharist, then it must follow that those who reject Sunday are also doomed.
