Geoff Thompson

Writer, teacher, and martial artist Geoff Thompson reflects on his early days as a nightclub doorman in Coventry, how he listed and conquered a “pyramid” of his greatest fears, why he continues to enjoy writing, and how being sexually abused as a teenager led him to discover that forgiveness is the only revenge.

  1. u had weapons in ur house in case a high chance repercussion could take place. did u suddnely decide hey u know what? if someone does pummel my door down with a knife so be it ? and thus took the weapons away? Doesn't matter which fake god u found or what u believed, u still had enemies who wanted revenge. better to be safe than sorry surely

  2. This looks like one of the most interesting interviews you've ever done Brian!!!
I understand exactly what he is talking about! I love it, when your show takes the spiritual path!
    PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THIS!
    Thank you so much!

  3. Fantastic interview.what an incredibly humble and honest man.i remember reading 'watch my back' in 1994/1995.read it in one day, couldn't put it down.geoff's the man.as he says we are an evolving universe, from the macro to the micro, external to internal and vice versa.and everything action and thought creates our future outcome, for 'good or bad' depending on the type of action.another great interview guys.

  4. Oh, sir, wow, you nailed it, is there any chance you would ever do an interview with Stefan Molyneux? He was raised all over the Commonwealth and discusses violence and how it creates the adult morality evidenced a generation later and why that sets the environment for more or less violence. I don't think young people especially over here understand Britain in your youth, thanks for posting this.
