A big surprise for newly married couple Chris and Leah O’Kane…

To use this video in a commercial player, advertising or in broadcasts, please email info@thetwopatricks.org

These lyrics are original and written by a girl in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, I think. So many have asked for them I hope the girl who wrote them gets in touch with me.

WE JOIN TOGETHER HERE TODAY,
TO HELP TWO PEOPLE ON THEIR WAY,
AS LEAH AND CHRIS START THEIR LIFE TOGETHER,
AND NOW WE’VE REACHED THEIR SPECIAL DATE,
WE’VE COME TO HELP THEM CELEBRATE,
AND SHOW THEM HOW MUCH WE LOVE THEM TOO,
HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH
HALLELUJAH,
AS LEAH IS WALKING UP THE AISLE,
AND CHRIS LOOKS UP AND GIVES A SMILE,
THE LOVE THAT FLOWS BETWEEN THEM FILLS THE CHURCH,
WITH LEAH’S FRIENDS AND FAMILY ON HER SIDE,
SHE REALLY IS THE BLUSHING BRIDE,
WITH LOVE AND PRIDE THEY LEAD HER
HALLELUJAH,
HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH
HALLELUJAH,
WITH THE PRIEST AND THE FAMILY WHO LEAD THE PRAYERS,
WE SAY OUR LINES AND THEY SAY THEIRS,
I GUIDE THEM THROUGH THE CEREMONY,
AND IN THIS HOUSE OF GOD ABOVE,
THEY JOIN THEIR HANDS TO SHOW THEIR LOVE,
AND SAY THOSE MOST IMPORTANT WORDS THAT YOU HEARD,
HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH
HALLELUJAH,
HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH
HALLELUJAH,
HALLELUJAH,
HALLELUJAH.

  1. Wow! Wunderschön!!! Übrigens: Das Symbol vor dem Altar schaut aus wie ein Dollarzeichen. Und außerdem: Welcher Geist wohnt in den Menschen, die ein solches Video disliken? Ohne Herz und Hirn. Alles klar! Oder?

  2. This a disgrace. May the Lord give that priest and all those people knowledge of salvation. The Liturgy is not a celebration to please oneself or others. It is not to entertain or to be governed by emotions or settlements. The Liturgy, as stated by the CCC is the work of God! The Mass is to give cult to God by and through the Lord's Sacrafice, made present at the altar. In the words of St. John Paul II, our earthly liturgy is a participation in the heavenly liturgy. Thus, the liturgy is where the earth and heaven units. Priests need to stop trying to secularized the Church, stop degrading and trampling on the liturgy, and stop trying to be creative. The liturgy is holy and thus sacred. Priest need to follow the rubrics and submit to the teaching and wisdom of the Church. Clearly, by doing things that are not in the rubrics and/or deviating from the Misal, like this priest, such priest are blinded and consumed by pride, vanity, and vainglory, which are mortal sins, and thus think and/or act as if they know better than the Church.
